Felicitating Vijit Bharara

On June 1, 2024, TiE NJ felicitated Vijit Bharara for his accomplishments as a successful South Asian businessman. My friend Anjan Lahiri, CEO of Navikenz AI Consulting (third from left) did a fabulous job of interviewing Vijit in the fireside chat format, where we got to learn about the illustrious Bharara family. Vijit is younger brother to Preet Bharara, who is famous in his own right as the New York federal prosecutor for bringing corrupt business men to justice. Both mom Desh Bharara and dad Jagdish Bharara were in attendance as were the in-laws of Vijit. 

It was some thing to learn that both Preet and Vijit were educated in New Jersey public schools and still live in New Jersey. The love and respect between the two brothers was obvious, as were the lessons of hard work and perseverance inculcated in the two sons by the Bharara parents.

The TiE annual gala was held in Zimmerli Art Museum at Rutgers University, in New Brunswick, NJ.
