Know the truth & speak of palm trees

There is an excellent article in The Atlantic on The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and it's new defacto ruler, Prince Mohammad bin Salman. I am not sure what MBS was expecting when he agreed to give interview to Greme Wood, but he is unlikely to like the article. Absolute power does not like to be painted in anything less than flattering. And this article is absolutely opposite of flattering.

Given the current chaotic scene of global oil markets, one would expect that Saudi Arabia would be cooperating with the United States, it's main "protector". But President Biden seems to be having difficulties getting MBS to listen and help bring the price of gas down.

As the article says, President Biden thinks MBS should face the music for Jamal Khashoggi's murder and has not called him since assuming his role. Perhaps it would have been good if someone had told President Biden, of this old Arab proverb - "It is good to know the truth and speak it, but it is better to know the truth and speak of palm trees"
